Welcome! My name is Lori Liddicoat, MS, CCC-SLP, owner of LiddicoatLLS. I have been an SLP for over 20 years, treating ages birth to 21 in all areas of speech, language, and literacy, with specialized training in language-literacy disorders. At LiddicoatLLS we specialize in identifying and treating communication impairments in all areas (speech-language-reading-writing) based on the latest scientific research. We love working with children and find it an honor to help a child achieve communication success.
Early speech skills, including awareness of sounds (phonological awareness) set the foundation for language development, including reading and writing. In fact, speech-reading-writing are interrelated. Building upon one area, strengthens other areas. But only focusing on one area often leaves a child at a disadvantage educationally. As an SLP, we provide holistic assessment and intervention that results in better long term success across all areas of speaking, reading, and writing.
